What is Sermorelin?

Sermorelin is a synthetic analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It belongs to a family of GHRH analogs — alongside tesamorelin and CJC-1295 — that are studied in the context of the growth-hormone axis (Memdouh et al., 2021)., 2021). This kind of metabolism and detection work is a significant part of the published literature on these compounds.

Regulatory status and limits

  • GHRH and its analogs are prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency; sermorelin is not approved for anti-aging or performance use.
  • It is supplied here strictly for laboratory research use only and has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for such uses.
